The Mists of Avalon Oracle

In my July 19 post – Two Paths-One Message – I discussed one optional divination tool for those seeking guidance from spirit – Oracle cards.

Here I showcase my own personal favourite.

A Portal to the Mythic Heart of Albion

ROSE INSERRA’S The Mists of Avalon Oracle is far more than a deck of divination cards—it is a sacred key to the timeless energies that continue to pulse through the mists of Glastonbury and the mythic realms of Arthurian legend.

Rooted in the spiritual DNA of the English psyche, this oracle invites us to walk between worlds, guided by ancient echoes.

Not only do the cards contain messages of ancient wisdom and ‘olde worlde‘ learnings, the evocative and highly skilled artwork of Nadia Turner has imbued each with the magic and mystery of Avalon.

Within the Mists of Avalon Oracle uncover the myth of King Arthur and the Camelot story as you connect to Druidic lore and the magic of Morgan le Fay.

Be empowered by the Avalon priestesses as they speak the language of trees in the sacred groves. Feel the spiritual power of the mystic landscape of Glastonbury, revered since ancient times as a gateway to the Otherworld.

Become part of the magic and myth of Avalon!

‘Magic is within us all, in all incarnations on the planet, if one does seek to find it.’

THERE ARE literally thousands of Oracle decks on the market. However, I often find that many either lean heavily toward a feminine bias or try so hard to be diverse that the quality of the product suffers.

At its core, this deck honours the divine balance of masculine and feminine whilst also maintaining cultural accuracy.

Noble Male Archetypes

Here we encounter noble archetypes such as King Arthur, Galahad, and Lancelot—symbols of strength, virtue, and sacred purpose—alongside the powerful feminine presence of Morgan le Fay, the Lady of the Lake, and the high priestesses of Avalon, embodiments of intuitive wisdom, mystery, and healing.

‘ … the powerful feminine presence …’

The landscape itself also resonates through the cards.

Glastonbury Tor rises like a beacon through the mist, crowned with ancient legend.

The ruins of Glastonbury Abbey whisper of a once-glorious sanctuary, said to be the final resting place of Arthur himself. The sacred wells—Chalice Well and the White Spring—still flow with waters long believed to hold healing power. And all resonate with the life-giving mystery of the Holy Grail.

‘ … a mystical place called “Avalon” now veiled to mortal eyes … ‘

And in the deep stillness of the lake, we feel the weight and wonder of Excalibur—the sword of truth and destiny—waiting beneath the surface for those who dare to seek it.

WHETHER USED for personal insight, spiritual practice, or a reconnection to the mythic imagination, I find that The Mists of Avalon Oracle offers more than guidance. It offers remembrance—a return to a magical, sacred landscape where magic, nature, and ancient wisdom meet.

It is no less than a reawakening of the sacred flame of Albion.

‘I am awakened to my potential.’
